EMILY’S List

 WATCH THE VIDEO

EMILY’s List is the nation’s largest resource for women in politics. They work to recruit, train, and elect women across the country, driving a movement to create historic change. They were founded in 1985 with the groundbreaking idea to create a network all across the country to help Democratic women wage competitive campaigns – and win. At EMILY’s List, they know that having a real diversity of perspectives at the governing table creates better policies through better understanding. Our candidates are on the right side – and the winning side – of issues affecting women and families. That’s why they support strong campaigns, research women’s issues, and turn out women voters…

They’ve trained over 9,000 women to run and raised more than $500 million—making them one of the most effective political organizations ever. For over 30 years, EMILY’s List has been changing the game and making feminist history – and they’re just getting started.

EMILY’s List is proud to be a sponsor of the Woman’s March in Washington. They want you to come and march with them in Washington, D.C., and invite you to help more women get the tools and training they need to step up and run for office. Local offices are ground zero for legislation that directly impacts our lives, our communities, and the issues that can help women succeed—or hold women back. EMILY’s List knows that the best policies for women are created when we have more women at the table, and more diverse perspectives at the table. They need you talking to your neighbors, organizing your communities, debating your opponents, changing the conversation — and winning.

I want to bring awareness to the injustices women and girls face around the world.
