Busia Foundation International

 WATCH THE VIDEO

Busia Foundation International was founded by sisters, Dr. Abena Busia, and Akosua Busia, under the inspiration of their mother, Madam Naa Morkor Busia (now deceased), former First Lady of Ghana, in honor of her then late husband, Dr. Kofi Abrefa Busia, former Prime-Minister of Ghana. The objective of Busia Foundation International (BFI) is to promote and foster Busia’s vision for Human Rights, Democracy, Civic Education, and Good Governance, in Ghana, and elsewhere, that were the hallmarks of Professor Busia’s philosophy.

The focus of Busia Foundation International is to educate and provide assistance to the individual, as well as to the community at large. Through community forums and discussion of pertinent matters concerning human rights, civic education, health, and community development, practical, hands-on solutions and assistance are organized and/or funded by BFI, for the promotion of a better society.
